Seamless Script

It is headquartered in New York. It was first launched in 1999 but that was not for individual users it was provided to the web based companies and caterers. After that in 2005 seamless was made available for individual users. They partnered with Grubhub in May 2013 and achieved high valuation.

Success Factor

Earlier before the partnership with Grubhub, the seamless company got partner with over 12,000 restaurants and served 4,000 companies. The idea of driving more orders Grubhub and seamless partnered and they achieved great success through that. This was the main success factor for seamless. On August 9, 2013 Seamless and GrubHub completed their merger and now operate under the named GrubHub seamless.

Result

They achieved great success through their combined work and in the first half of 2013 only they processed approximately 130,000 orders per day. Aramark acquired seamless in April 2006.On June 8, 2011 spectrum equity investors made a minority investment of $50 million in the seamless company and the company has now been spun out of the Aramark into an independent entity.
